Priyanka Chopra in Odisha
Odisha is now in limelight for the shooting of SSMB29 starring South superstars Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran and internationally acclaimed actress Priyanka Chopra. Renowned director SS Rajamouli is directing the movie which is now being shot in Koraput.
The shooting of the Mahesh Babu starrer SSMB29 has already started amidst tight security arrangements in Odisha’s Koraput.

With several noted film makers turning to Odisha to explore the scenic beauty of the state, it is hoped that it will boost the tourism in the state.
Odisha Govt Assures Full Support
Odisha Deputy CM Pravati Parida on Tuesday welcomed all film industries to explore Odisha’s potential. The Deputy CM also assured full support and world-class infrastructure.
“Before, Pushpa-2 in Malkangiri, and now, renowned director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film SSMB29, starring South superstars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, along with internationally acclaimed actress Priyanka Chopra, is being shot in Koraput, proving that Odisha has a wealth of cinematic landscapes for film shooting,” tweeted Odisha Deputy CM.

Priyanka Chopra In Odisha
Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra arrived in Odisha’s Koraput on Monday evening and joined the shooting for the movie today. Priyanka was spotted posing with airline crew after landing at Odisha airport. Later, the actress moved to the hotel in Semiliguda, where other crew members of SSMB29 are currently residing.

Tight Security Arrangements
SSMB29, starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, will be an action-mythology film set against the backdrop of dense jungles.
A three-layer security arrangement has been ensured at Talamali Hilltop, Deomali, and nearby sites, where extensive preparations for the film’s shoot are underway.
